How are jobs managed once I activate my account?

You’ll be able to manage your experience through the GravyWork app. That’s where you can view available jobs and their requirements, accept jobs, and check in and out from your gigs. You can even message us directly from the app if you ever need assistance, we’re here for you!

Is training offered?

We currently offer free banquet server training courses at our main office in the DMV area. Here, you’ll learn everything you need to know to work as an elite banquet server. Visit our training page to RSVP for the next class.

How long does it take to onboard so I can start working a job?

This could take as little as one day! It all depends on how quickly you complete the simple onboarding steps to activate your account and how fast your background check is cleared. We use a 3rd party source to run background checks on all GravyWorkers, which can take anywhere from an hour to a week.

When will I get paid?

We pay our GravyWorkers every Friday via direct deposit. Depending on your bank, you could see funds in your account 1 to 2 days in advance, cha-ching! For additional questions regarding your compensation, please message our team through the GravyWork app.

Is there a cost to sign up as a worker?

There are no upfront costs to become a GravyWorker. The only cost associated with signing up is $15 for your background check, which will be deducted from your first paycheck.

Does GravyWork provide transportation?

We do not provide transportation to or from job sites at this time. All GravyWorkers are expected to have their own form of reliable transportation.

What types of positions are available?

We have temporary and long-term gigs available in virtually every area of the hospitality industry. Whether you’re an experienced mixologist or a first time event helper, we have something for you.
